About the event
A weekly meeting to explore different artistic mediums and learn about art.
The Afternoon Art Club is for children ages 8 - 12
Each club session will run for six weeks, allowing plenty of time for us to work on multi-week projects.
Our curriculum will include Pottery Painting, Drawing, hand-building with Clay, Canvas Painting, Fused Glass, Mosaics, and additional crafts selected based on the interests of club members. (We may not get to all of these in one session...as we try to tailor projects to match participants' interest and ability)
We will not only create art but also delve into art history and explore the specific techniques and styles of various artists, making this a fun and educational experience for your child.
