Fused Glass Wind Chime or Sun Catcher

Learn how to cut and arrange different types of glass pieces to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind wind chime or sun catcher.

The workshop includes safety instructions as well as an overview of how to use the tools required to complete your project. We will show you several example projects and then you'll have the rest of the class to experiment and complete your design. Pieces will be fused and hooks added so that you can string them together at home or during Open Studio. Create a fused glass header bar to change your chimes pieces from, or plan to incorporate a piece of treasured driftwood, a vintage tool, a piece of china, or another item of interest to create a unique piece of art. Add some optional beads or wire wrap embellishments to make them even more special.
