About the event
Working with slabs, coiling, pinch pots, and sculpting tools you will transform clay into of beautiful, useful and decorative ceramics from Stoneware clay.
Over the course, you will learn the basics of hand-building along with studio maintenance, how to properly wrap projects for even drying and successful bisque firing.
We will also cover: working with templates, pinch method, slab building, coiling, creating foot rings, proper storage, and glaze techniques.
Included:
6 weeks of instruction (4 weeks building of projects / 2 weeks of project fine-tuning and glazing instruction)
Stoneware Clay (up to 20lbs)
