An opportunity for children ages 8 - 12 to explore different artistic mediums and learn more about art. Our curriculum will include Pottery Painting, Drawing, Hand building with Clay, Canvas Painting, Fused Glass, Mosaics, and additional crafts selected based on club member interests.

About the event
The Afternoon Art Club is for children ages 8 - 12
Each club session will run for six weeks allowing plenty of time for us to work on multi-week projects.
Our curriculum will include Pottery Painting, Drawing, Hand building with Clay, Canvas Painting, Fused Glass, Mosaics, and additional crafts selected based on club member interests. (we may not get to all of these in one session...as we try to gauge projects based on participant interest and ability)
We will not only make art but also delve into some art history and explore specific techniques and styles of specific artists, making this a fun and educational experience for your child.
We will meet weekly for a 2-hour session to explore different artistic mediums and learn about art.
